Flashback Friday!

I decided to join in on Flashback Friday. I love going through old photos of my family. I wish I had better quality photos from when my older girls were younger but what I do have is special regardless.

This first photo was the day I left for Germany in December 2005. I look a mess but it captured the moment. At that time my sister and I just started getting really close. The day I had to get on the plane to move to another country, alone with 2 kids, she was a great help. Luckily, the airline gave her a boarding pass so she could be with me and help with the kids. I was a mess. I cried, Asia cried even harder. Asia was fine until we had to check her suitcase. She was mad when she seen it going away. I am sure she was very confused, she was only 3 1/2 so it was a huge change for her. Amya was fine until we got on the second flight, then she screamed pretty much the entire 9 hour flight.
I never knew that this one day was just the start of some of the best times in my life.
I am in the black sweatshirt, the one looking miserable lol.

This second one is just a little bit of sisterly love. This was just a few days after we got to Germany. Watching my girls together always melts my heart. It shocks me how close they are and how rare fights are. I love it.

I look forward to sharing more photos from the past!

  1. Wow! I can't imagine traveling all that way with three little ones, you are amazing! I can barely make it to work with Jae screaming in the car before I want to pull my hair out! Thanks for linking up this week! Hope you'll join in next week!

  2. Luckily it was only 2 lol. The youngest one (in my sister's arms) is my niece. I had my third while in Germany so we traveled back with 3, at least I wasn't alone though! That first trip was a nightmare!!
